While many consulting firms have talked about the impending rise of social shopping, few have really done much to advance the conversation. We all know that today’s ecommerce experience lacks sociality: the real challenge is to find a way to restore or embody the social aspects so critical to shopping in the offline world without overcomplicating the online experience or engaging the privacy concerns of end users.
